With the launch of this DVD we are attempting to energise people who aren’t already involved in sport.
This DVD shows the joy, friendship and pleasure that people get from the different sports.The range of ability’s catered for and the opportunity to participate and compete.We hope many of the misconceptions that people may have will be broken down and help to encourage a larger number of people participating on a regular basis.
But these misconceptions aren’t only affecting participants it is also the case for some potential volunteers.We want to use this DVD to appeal for more volunteers so they can see what they will be getting involved in.
The next step is to get this DVD out to people who are going to use this as a proactive tool to get people involved.
The IDSF also wants to present this DVD to different groups of both potential participants and volunteers so someone is on hand to answer any questions and to encourage people to partake.
